Position Overview

Hartney Greymont is seeking a dedicated Lawn Care Manager to join our team. This individual will be responsible for managing and coordinating all lawn care technicians performing chemical and fertilizer applications, as well as performing lawn care applications.

Compensation

$30 - $40 (Based on experience)

Job Duties

• Diagnose insect, disease, and physiological issues on turf grass.

• Select and apply appropriate products and treatment methodologies.

• Schedule, route, and manage multiple crews across various towns.

• Create, propose, and execute comprehensive lawn care programs.

• Train and develop team members.

• Identify new business opportunities and communicate them to the sales team.

• Complete diagnostic reports accurately and promptly.

• Operate spray and application equipment as necessary.

• Stay updated on new products and technology advancements.

• Act as a technical resource to support the sales staff.

• Monitor inventory and order chemicals as needed.

• Adhere to strict organizational safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Proficient computer skills.

• Well-organized and detail-oriented.

• Positive attitude and flexibility.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Self-starter with the ability to prioritize workload and problem-solve.

• Proven ability to manage a team of lawn technicians.

• Knowledge of safety standards and practices.

• Willingness to work overtime.

• Valid Massachusetts driver's license (CDL preferred).

• Massachusetts pesticide license with Category 37.

• Bachelor’s degree in Turf Grass, Horticulture, Plant Science, or equivalent work
