Southcoast Federal Credit Union Bank Clerk - Teller in New Bedford, Massachusetts
As a Teller, you will perform many functions within your scope of responsibility in conformance with established Credit Union policies, procedures and objectives, providing the highest level of service and responsiveness to our members. We look for individuals who are reliable, willing to pitch in and help others without being asked and are committed to the success of the team. Responsibilities: Provides efficient, effective and courteous member service. Maintains effective knowledge of the credit union?s products and services. Ensures transactions are completed in an accurate manner Balances transactions and cash at the end of the day and participates in the branch settlement. Ensures that transactions are processed and the proper documentation is completed within established time frames. Performs all duties in accordance with prescribed security and regulatory guidelines. Ensures full compliance with the Bank\'s Information Security Policies and Procedures Performs related and unrelated duties as may be required. Requirements: High School diploma or its equivalent. Three to six months banking or retail cash handling experience. Demonstrated customer service, interpersonal and organizational skills required. Must be able to perform basic mathematical procedures. Reliable attendance.
