About this role:

The Kennedy-Donovan Center is seeking an experienced and compassionate Health Care Supervisor (RN) to assist in provision of individualized, group and consultation services related to all aspects of student health and specialized medical needs, utilizing a team-based, multi-disciplinary approach.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 am – 4 pm

Salary: $65-$68k

In this role, you'll get to:

  • Participate as member of multi-disciplinary team in ensuring and promoting optimal health and safety for all clients.

  • Oversee development of clients Day Hab Support Plans, medical summaries and maintain updated medical records in the Electronic Healthcare Record.

  • Oversee and coordinate services for Day Habilitation required therapies: Physical and Occupational Therapists, Speech, and Language Pathologist.

  • Supervise and monitor health and medical interventions implemented by nursing staff as assigned.

  • Assist in hiring and providing orientation, training and ongoing supervision and support of nursing staff.

  • Assist in provision of orientation and training in areas of health and safety to staff.

  • Assist in the development of necessary medical, health and safety policies.

  • Assist in outreach and program fundraising activities.

  • Participate in professional development activities and training necessary to enhance skills and maintain certification.

  • Administer first aid, medication administration and medical attention to participants as necessary.

  • Perform other job-related responsibilities as assigned.

    We are looking for people who have:

  • MA Licensure as a Registered Nurse.

  • Graduate of accredited school of nursing.

  • Experience with clients with developmental disabilities.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively participate in multi-disciplinary team-based approach.

  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Supervisory experience.

  • Able to meet required competency level in Microsoft Office Software and utilize the Electronic Healthcare Records.
