Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst I in New Bedford, Massachusetts. This role is within the Rubber Manufacturing industry, where you will be responsible for the installation, operation and maintenance of computer networking equipment, handling daily incident and service requests, and ensuring satisfactory system performance for end users.
Responsibilities:
• Handle daily incident and service requests from end users and provide standard support service.
• Install, operate, and maintain computer networking equipment for the company.
• Act as a Security Administrator for Microsoft, Windows, VM Ware Server and Microsoft Office 365 e-mail and office productivity applications.
• Collaborate with external managed service partner to conduct daily backups and Disaster Recovery rehearsals for all identified application/services.
• Provide level 1 network and windows server technical support to end users.
• Offer daily support to Windows PC through central management portal based on ConnectWise.
• Monitor and provide daily support to company telephone equipment based on AVAYA technology, coordinate with PBX vendor for troubleshooting, configuration adjustment, and required changes.
• Schedule and maintain a phone system backup and recovery system.
• Respond to the needs of users concerning functionality of computer and phone equipment.
• Ensure company standards and securities are in place. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within the Rubber Manufacturing industry
• Proficiency in Android Development
• Knowledge and experience with Cisco Technologies
• Familiarity with Citrix Technologies
• Ability to work with Mac Computers and Apple Devices
• Proficient in Microsoft software and systems, including Microsoft Office 365
• Experience with Active Directory
• Familiarity with Computer Hardware
• Knowledge of Configuration Management
• Experience with Deployments
• Proficiency in Desktop Support
• Familiarity with a Ticketing System
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to continually learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Must possess a high level of professionalism and customer service skills
