Position Overview: As an HR Generalist, you will support the HR department in executing key HR initiatives and processes that foster a positive workforce. You will gain valuable, hands-on experience while assisting our HR team in delivering efficient and responsive HR services to our employees. Key Responsibilities: Manage daily attendance tracking and review employee timecards using ADP. Conduct interviews for production staff and coordinate the recruitment process. Order background checks and arrange drug screening/physical exams for new hires, ensuring timely completion and tracking results. Prepare and facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding processes. Train and guide managers on company policies and safety protocols. Maintain and distribute lockers for employees, ensuring organization and accessibility. Assist with disciplinary processes and support the Safety Committee. Process and maintain injury reports and OSHA documentation. Participate in HR projects and meetings, contributing innovative ideas for improvement. Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations by maintaining up-to-date posters and materials. Keep the MSDS binder current and manage emergency reporting for evacuation safety. Perform miscellaneous clerical duties, including filing, ordering supplies, and supporting administrative projects as needed. Qualifications: Associate degree required; a degree in HR or a related field is preferred. 3-5 years of relevant recruiting or HR administrative experience is required. Basic understanding of human resources practices and regulations. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; typing speed of at least 50 wpm. Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality. Self-starter with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage a variety of tasks effectively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in professional and diplomatic interactions. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a must!
