Perform upgrades to refrigerated warehouse space with the Maintenance/Engineering team as required for 5 cold store facilities. ? Maintain existing warehousing & facilities in effective operating condition. ? Monitoring Refrigeration system. ? Monitor Defrosting units. ? Complete routine checks daily on all systems, and report and record information. ? Ability to troubleshoot systems, and repair leaks, or damages. ? Coordinate project status with supervisor to prevent unplanned downtime. ? Required to work on all mechanical equipment repairs and maintenance programs, including supporting the development of Waterfront?s PSM program and a PM program. ? Attend calls on lines, working on planned and unplanned Maintenance work. ? Complete Work Orders to include Annual, Monthly, Weekly, and Daily PM?s. ? Support and manage Maintenance and Engineering projects as needed. ? General building maintenance including light electrical. ? Occasional repairs on material handling equipment such as forklifts. ? Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Qualifications ? Refrigeration exp is a PLUS ? Ammonia Exp. Is a PLUS ? Operator 1-3 Cert is a PLUS ? EPA 608,601 ? 2+ years mechanical and electrical experience maintaining forklifts and warehouse equipment or combination of experience and trade school. ? Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques. ? Excellent communication skills. ? Knowledge of hand and power tools such as drills, grinders, sanders in the set up and fitting for welding or in finishing of welds. ? Physically capable of lifting as much as one hundred pounds and carrying 50 pounds. ? Must demonstrate strong problem-solving ability. ? Knowledge of electrical. ? Effective problem-solving abilities. ? Excellent written and verbal communication skills. ? Must be well- organized and have the ability to prioritize tasks. ? High school diploma or GED ? Previous experience in Cold Store. ? Previous experience in facility/factory refrigeration are
