A Kforce client is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team in Newton, MA. This client is a beverage company known nationally. They have a great environment and flexible hours. This role will work in a hybrid schedule, 4 days a week in the office and 1 day remote. Responsibilities will include:

• The Accounting Manager will oversee operational accounting processes

• Assist with month-end close

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts

• Oversee trade spend

• Research and set up new vendors

• Assist with financial audit

• Develop and improve systems, policies and procedures

• The Accounting Manager will supervise the accounting team

• Plan, assign, and direct work of staff

• Assess and provide employee feedback

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration

• 8-10 years of related experience

• Commercial background

• Technical accounting experience is ideal

• Advanced Excel skills

• Experience with MRP or ERP software

• Strong communication skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
