Bright Horizons Associate Project Manager - Remote in Newton, Massachusetts
The Associate Project Manager (APM) will work in tandem with the Enterprise Eligibility Data Project Management (EEDPM) team to perform duties in support of the completion of projects with a focus on client eligibility data management.
APM(s) participate during all phases of the project management process and will also run smaller projects themselves. Under the guidance of the Senior Project Manager, the APM will schedule and conduct internal and client facing project meetings, communicate assignments and expectations to project team members, and track completion of project deliverables to ensure the quality and integrity of all project-related products.
What you will be doing:
General Project Management
Manage projects of 1-3 months in duration
Maintain and monitor project plans and project resources
Organize and attend stakeholder meetings
Prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings as well as document and follow-up on important actions and decisions from meetings
Navigate project changes effectively, remove barriers, and coordinate with a variety of cross functional project team members
Estimate time frames, quality and quantity of resources required to successfully implement the project; develop the project plan incorporating all project variables and facilitate completion of client change orders, as required
Communication
Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
Ability to communicate with core project team (internal and external) as well as leverage EEDPM team for best practices
Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion with the ability to understand how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully
What we hope you bring to this role:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in business, operations, or related field preferred or 2+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
1-3 years of project management experience
Ability to work Eastern Time Zone business hours in support of UK, International & US based projects
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Limited travel may be required
Exposure to delivery and management of projects
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures
Working towards PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification or equivalent beneficial
Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a fast paced environment across other functions including sales, account management, employee services, finance, IT, HR, and marketing
Ability to remain organized at all times and to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources including team members, other internal departments and external parties (such as 3rd party partners)
Experience with JIRA, Monday.com, or other project management tools a plus
Compensation Range:
$60,000-$70,000 per year.
The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business factors.
