We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in the industry of bookkeeping located in Newton, MA on a part-time basis. The role is for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper who will be responsible for a variety of tasks including account reconciliation, data entry, and use of QuickBooks among other duties.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct account reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.

• Handle accounts payable and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.

• Manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely and effective collection as necessary.

• Conduct bank reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy.

• Maintain and balance the general ledger in an accurate, complete, and up-to-date manner.

• Perform bookkeeping duties such as coding, recording, posting and processing day-to-day transactions.

• Process and record transactions in a timely and accurate manner to the general ledger.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry and the creation of financial documents and reports.

• Utilize QuickBooks for bookkeeping tasks and maintaining financial records.

• Assist with other bookkeeping duties as required, ensuring the smooth operation of the organization's financial department.

Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations

• Proficiency in Bookkeeping

• Ability to perform Data Entry tasks accurately and efficiently

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with QuickBooks accounting software
