Bright Horizons Director, Education Design Strategy in Newton, Massachusetts
The EdAssist Education Provider Product team works at the intersection of higher (and workforce) education partnerships and corporate workforce education initiatives to promote internal and economic mobility for employees. The Director of Education Design Strategy is responsible for implementing the EdAssist Education Provider Network Strategy, including the development, maintenance, and evaluation of custom and off-the-shelf education provider networks and employee career pathways.
The Director of Education Design Strategy leads a consulting team that focuses on provider and educational research, partnership alignment, and quality assessment. They indirectly contribute to the economic mobility and personal growth of employees by advising their employers on current and potential education partnerships. The Director must have a deep understanding of higher education and workforce education industries— specifically job/skills learning, provider B2B/B2E offerings, associated quality metrics, and program and institution-level accrediting agencies. Formal experience in research design and project management is highly desirable.
What you will be doing:
Lead the team responsible for executing education provider products such as career pathways, standard and custom provider networks, targeted offerings portfolios, and other provider products.
Develop, implement, and scale operations to support successful product execution including new quality assurance, custom offering delivery, and other workflows as needed.
Implement education provider research initiatives and oversee provider research database maintenance
Contribute to high visibility/complex projects and product piloting as needed
Contribute to the strategic planning for and health tracking of provider products
Perform other related duties as assigned that support the objective of the position
Support the Sr. Director on provider provider-focused initiatives and product development
What we hope you will bring to this role:
Master's Degree - Education-focus - Required
Doctoral Degree with an Education-focus - Preferred
5 years in continuing or workforce education program design or administration, higher education administration, or closely related field - Required
10 years in continuing or workforce education program design or administration, higher education administration, or closely related field - Preferred
Experience specifically with healthcare credentialing and career pathways management or design preferred
Knowledgeable in current education trends and state and federal requirements as it pertains to skills-based learning, career pathways, self-directed learning, no-cost degrees for working adult learners.
Ability to design, manage, and use spreadsheet-based data collections to analyze and report on trends and contribute to other forms of data storytelling
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including client-facing consulting and presentation skills
Proven problem-solving abilities, superior analytic capabilities, and demonstrated intellectual curiosity
Proven capability in project management and complex project delivery
Expertise in crafting data-backed recommendations and the ability to distill complex information into concise, plain English
Self-starter who is comfortable working in dynamic, evolving environments
Proficient in Microsoft 365 Suite
Salary and Other Compensation Disclosures
The annual starting salary for this position is between $140,000 - $160,000 annually. The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.
This position is also eligible for:
10% Bonus
