Job Summary

The Marketing Associate is a strong communicator with excellent project management skills to coordinate and execute multiple deliverables in a rapidly evolving work environment and industry. The Marketing Associate is an important member of the Thought Leadership and Brand Awareness function of the Experience team, working with key stakeholders, internal and external agencies, partners and vendors. and various tools and applications to support thought leadership, client retention and acquisition and events/sponsorships, public relations and social media. Reporting to the Director, this position will be critical as the team drives brand awareness, maintains naviHealth’s position as a trusted expert and strategic partner in the industry, and drives engagement across multiple formats and channels.

This is a highly visible role and great opportunity for a skilled marketing generalist with an interest in health care to make an immediate impact on the Experience team and organization overall.

Responsibilities

  • Manage editorial calendar to track thought leadership and awareness initiatives including speaking opportunities, press activity, hosted events, speaking engagements, original content and company news; post relevant and related updates to corporate site and intranet resources; manage scheduling and agenda for weekly team meetings

  • Partner with Experience team PR lead to support media relations initiatives such as inbound requests, speaking engagements and scheduling; triage opportunities, placements and talking points to appropriate spokespeople; support logistics and abstract submissions for speaking engagements and sponsorships

  • Lead the corporate social media strategy which includes: scheduling, posting and monitoring content and follower engagement, goal setting and reporting out on key milestones; partner with paid media team to align closely on efforts and campaigns

  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Colleague Engagement teams to maximize recruitment and engagement efforts through social outreach

  • Lead event and tradeshow planning and execution for hosted and sponsored industry events, independently and in partnership with segment marketing leaders; Research, propose and secure relevant event sponsorship opportunities; lead event debriefs and executive overviews

  • Lead newsletter scheduling, distribution and monitoring for internal- and external-facing newsletters; partner with Sr. Content Specialist to schedule, distribute and report out as needed

  • Partner closely with Creative team to develop required assets related to thought leadership engagements including event sponsorships and social

  • Manage and update reporting dashboard related to thought leadership and awareness initiatives

  • Stay keen on industry news, competitive news and current events to drive content ideation for internal newsletter and flag updates for appropriate teams and partners

  • Support Experience team across a portfolio of segment-specific lead generation and awareness campaigns

  • Manage and nurture relationships and related budgets with external vendors, agencies and partners as needed

  • Contribute to various other projects, as assigned based on team and company needs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications, or a related field; health care interest a plus

  • Minimum 1-3 years of related work experience

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Strong experience with web-based tools and platforms (e.g., Marketo, Twitter, LinkedIn, WordPress, Hootsuite); Marketo experience a plus

  • Professional aptitude and degree of comfort interfacing with senior executives and representing the company in a highly visible role as the face of social

  • Exhibits a solid editorial governance which is consistent with our brand voice, style and tone
