Part-Time Assistant for Hospice and Palliative Care Volunteer Program
Recently named by The Boston Globe as one of theTop Places to Work in Massachusetts,our community-based, mission-driven hospice and palliative care organization seeks a part-time Program Assistant to join its expanding Volunteer Program. The Volunteer Program provides meaningful care and compassion to hospice and palliative patients and delivers important administrative support in our office.
Job Responsibilities:
The Part-Time, 20-hour/week Volunteer Program Assistant provides administrative and programmatic support to the volunteer department, ensuring full compliance with organizational procedures and regulatory requirements. This position offers a range of responsibilities including working with volunteers and office staff, administrative and HR work, helping coordinate training and events, and more. Some schedule flexibility.
Education, Skills and Experience:
College Degree or equivalent experience preferred
Well-organized
Thorough and detail-oriented
Self-motivated
Resourceful
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Bi-lingual (Russian, Spanish, Chinese) a plus
Computer skills are essential (experience with Google workspace and EMRs a plus)
