Bright Horizons Product Analyst - College Coach in Newton, Massachusetts

The Product Analyst will analyze and synthesize data to get insights needed to make the best product development decisions. Reporting under the Business Intelligence Director, this role will work to perform ad hoc SQL queries and help the College Coach team make data-driven decisions.

Bright Horizons College Coach team has been assisting families in achieving their education goals for more than 20 years. The team, composed of former admissions and financial aid officers, is dedicated to helping every high school student find their best-fit educational path.

What you will be doing:

  • Perform ad hoc SQL queries to help the teams make data-driven decisions

  • Work as a liaison between the stakeholders and the College Coach team to ensure Objectives and Key Results are accurately measured and visualized on OKR dashboards or other data analytics products

  • Work as a liaison between the team to ensure data requests are prioritized and worked appropriately as per business need

  • Create and maintain roadmaps for analytics products per company goals

  • Participates in UAT validation and detailed user story acceptance criteria for OKR data analytics products

  • Groom, write, and prioritize user stories as well as maintain backlog stories per the roadmap

What we hope you will bring to this role:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • 3 years of Experience in analyst or similar role required

  • Knowledge of and experience with Bright Horizons data warehouse, databases, and general data structure preferred

  • Knowledge of and experience with web analytics platform required, as well as experience with data visualization in Excel

  • Knowledge and fluency in SQL required

  • Knowledge of Bright Horizons products, our end users and the specific problems we are solving for preferred

  • Experience developing REST and GraphQL APIs preferred

  • Role will be based out of either a Bright Horizons office or home office. Occasional travel will be required at a maximum twice a year

Compensation Range:

The annual salary for this role is: $80,000 - $82,000 annual salary

Actual compensation offers will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.
