Bright Horizons Senior DevOps Engineer-Hybrid in Newton, Massachusetts
We are looking for a skilled and driven Senior DevOps Engineer to become a part of our team. The perfect candidate will possess extensive experience with Azure DevOps, GIT, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) methodologies. In this role, you will be instrumental in automating and optimizing our operations and processes, ensuring our infrastructure is both reliable and scalable.
What you will be doing:
Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate GIT workflows and best practices.
Deploy and manage applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and security.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
Implement and manage automated testing and deployment processes.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
What we hope you bring to this role:
7+ years of proven experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline creation and management.
Strong proficiency in GIT and version control systems.
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with observability tools
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
