Bright Horizons Senior Director of Marketing Analytics-Hybrid in Newton, Massachusetts

The Senior Director of Marketing Analytics would lead our marketing analytics team and play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making across the marketing organization. In this strategic leadership role, the role will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing analytics strategy, building and managing a high-performing team, and delivering actionable insights that inform and optimize marketing efforts.

What you will be doing:

  • Work in partnership with key functions and senior marketing leadership to support marketing goals with appropriate analysis (including metrics, reports, analyses, summaries, conclusions and recommendations) and embracing company values and HEART principles

  • Lead and manage a team of marketing analysts, providing coaching, mentorship, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing analytics strategy aligned with overall business objectives, focusing on key performance indicators (KPIs) and return on investment (ROI) measurement.

  • Design and execute marketing analytics frameworks and processes to capture, analyze, and interpret data from various marketing channels and sources.

  • Translate complex data into actionable insights and compelling narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including LOBs, data engineering and Enterprise Product teams, to translate business needs into data-driven solutions and recommendations.

  • Identify and implement new methodologies to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting capabilities.

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest marketing analytics trends and best practices, and continuously seek opportunities to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of marketing programs.

  • Champion data-driven decision-making across the organization and foster a culture of data-driven marketing.

What we hope you will bring to this role:

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing analytics, marketing research, or a related field.

  • Proven track record of leading and managing a team of marketing analysts.

  • Strong understanding of marketing analytics methodologies, including data collection, analysis, and visualization.

  • Experience with marketing attribution modeling and marketing mix modeling.

  • Proficiency in SQL and marketing analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and marketing automation platforms.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear and concise insights for diverse audiences.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.

  • Collaborative and results-oriented with a strong work ethic and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
