Bright Horizons Senior Product Manager - College Coach in Newton, Massachusetts

The Senior Product Manager coordinates and is responsible for enhancing, maintaining and managing “software as a service” products. This individual will work collaboratively with the College Coach team to generate product requirements, determine specifications, production timetables, and plans for product introduction and roll-out. Evaluates and resolves technical feasibility, design optimization, and production issues. Supports existing client base and industry developments and identifies potential new product opportunities. Works with other departments to establish a design, technology, product development, and vendor strategy. This role is eligible to be Remote .

College Coach has been assisting families in achieving their education goals for more than 20 years. Our team, composed of former admissions and financial aid officers, is dedicated to helping every high school student find their best-fit educational path. With a strong service mission, commitment to excellence, and focus on ethical guidance, we work with tens of thousands of families who receive our services for free through their employer-sponsored benefit and hundreds more via our more traditional independent consulting service. In both cases, we interact directly with students and parents over the phone and via video conference.

What you will be doing in this role:

  • Responsible for the design, development and ongoing enhancements of software systems that drive efficient and effective service delivery.

  • Lead efforts to improve customer experience through enhanced contact center management, advisors and other points of end user engagement.

  • Drive service improvements to enhance performance and maximize client satisfaction.

  • Conduct competitive research and analysis

  • Collaborate effectively with internal Bright Horizons colleagues to continue driving initiatives.

  • Conduct critical strategic risk and performance analysis to ensure continued service operations.

  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding financial performance goals.

  • Travel on a monthly or quarterly basis to client or Bright Horizons Corporate Headquarters.

  • Eligible for Remote , working out of ahome office.

What we hope you’ll bring to this role:

  • 6-10 years of product management experience

  • Experience with B2B and SaaS-based solutions preferred

  • Managed healthcare, benefits, and/or outsourcing service experience a plus

  • Experience with Agile product development

  • Familiarity with contact center transaction processing a plus.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills.

  • Goal-oriented, must be able to demonstrate success meeting and exceeding business objectives.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to use data to spot and address risks and opportunities.

  • Self-starter with ability to drive decisions and lead projects from start to finish

  • Exceptional decision-making, prioritization, and time management skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to build and maintain business relationships across all organizational levels, i.e. peers, vendors, clients.

  • Adaptability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.

Compensation Range:

The compensation range for this role is $125,000 - $140,000 annually with eligibility for up to 5% bonus plan.

Actual compensation offers will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.
