Early Intervention Social Worker Type: Full time Schedule: 37.5 hours/week; Mon-Fri North Adams, MA 01247 New! \$2,500 Sign-on Bonus Are you passionate about helping children and families and want to make a difference in the lives of children who are at risk for developmental delays? Join the UCP team as our EI Social Worker! You will provide behavioral therapy, mental health support, and parenting skills training to children at risk for developmental delays, aged birth to three. Working with families in various settings using a family-centered approach. Caseload in Northern Berkshire County. Responsibilities Participate in multidisciplinary team evaluations and the development of IFSP?s for children/families referred to the Early Intervention Program, addressing family issues, resources, and needs. Provide support for the parents/caregivers of enrolled children around general parenting issues and/or the issues of raising a child with special needs. Social/emotional and family assessments Co-facilitate psychosocial, developmental groups Consultation on social/emotional and family issues to other Early Intervention staff Attend orientation trainings offered by the Department of Public Health?s Training Center as required Maintain productivity requirements which may include assessments, group services, individual treatment and community outreach efforts. Qualifications Master\'s degree in: Social Work, Counseling, Clinical, Developmental, OR Educational Psychology AND current licensure in Massachusetts as ONE of the following: - Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) - Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) - Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) - Licensed marriage and Family therapist (LMFT) Certification as an Early Intervention Specialist by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (MDPH) OR eligible to be certified within two years of employment in a MDPH certified Early Intervention program. Knowledge of community social services, education and health service agencies CPR/First Aid Certification for infants and toddlers or ability to achieve certification Evidence of immunity for measles, mumps and rubella Valid driver\'s license, availability of private vehicle, up-to-date car insurance Ability to work flexible hours Satisfactory CORI, SORI, DPPC and National Fingerprint Background Check Early Intervention Social Worker Benefits Medical, dental and vision insurance after first month of employment Earn two weeks vacation in first year of employment, three week rate after first year Three personal days per year Earn up to seven sick days per year 403(b) retirement program with company match after one year Mileage reimbursement May qualify you toward the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program Employee referral program and more!
