Licensed Social Worker- Early Intervention Job Type: Full time Schedule: 37.5 hours/wk (M-F) Location: North Adams, MA 01247 New! \$2,500 Sign-on Bonus The Licensed Social Worker (Early Intervention) provides early preventive services to young children (birth to age 3) who have or are at risk for developing delays and their caregivers. The Licensed Social Worker position at UCP offers a perfect opportunity for the right clinician who is non judgemental, understanding, compassionate and can meet families where they are. You will provide behavioral therapy, mental health support, and parenting skills training to children (birth to age 3) and their caregivers. Caseload is in Northern Berkshire County, Massachusetts with work conducted during home visits or other natural settings using a family-centered approach. Licensed Social Worker (Early Intervention) Responsibilities - Participate in multidisciplinary team evaluations and the development of IFSP - Provide support for the parents/caregivers of enrolled children around family issues, resources, and needs - Social/emotional assessments - Co-facilitate developmental child or parent groups with other interdisciplinary staff - Provide support to other Early Intervention staff regarding social/emotional and family issues - Attend community outreach efforts to promote early intervention awareness and child find - Provide scheduling opportunities that meet family needs such as late afternoons or early mornings - Participate in continuing education in the field of early intervention/childhood development - Maintain productivity requirements for billable services Licensed Social Worker (Early Intervention) Qualifications - Masters degree from accredited program recognized by the MA Board of Registration of Social Workers - MA license in good standing in one of the following disciplines: LICSW (preferred), LCSW, LMHC or LMFT - Must meet DPH requirements - Experience in home visits, pediatrics and families preferred - Knowledge of community social services, education and health service agencies - Basic Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook skills - CPR/First Aid Certification for infants and toddlers or ability to achieve certification - Valid driver?s license, availability of private vehicle, up-to-date car insurance - Must be able to pass a state and national background check Licensed Social Worker (Early Intervention) Benefits - Medical, dental and vision insurance after first month of employment - Earn two weeks vacation in first year of employment, three week rate after first year - Three personal days per year - Earn up to seven sick days per year - 403(b) retirement program with company match after one year - Mileage reimbursement - May qualify you toward the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program - Financial assistance with professional memberships, certifications and license renewals - Employee referral program and more!
