Opportunity Overview:

We are recruiting for a Material Handler within our shipping, receiving and warehousing operations to join our team in North Reading, MA.

The ideal candidate will have strong interest in shipping and receiving, hands-on experience with various tools and equipment as well as the ability to be on site 5x week.

The candidate will have an opportunity to learn and perform multiple material handling functions with an experienced team:

• Shipping activities include checking goods against shipping documents and authorizations; packing goods for shipment according to specifications, equipment characteristics, assign transportation methods, verifying identification and quality of product; preparing bills of lading; posting weight and other shipping details utilizing shipping carrier websites.

• Receiving activities include receipt and unpacking of goods; checking against bills of lading, packing slips, identification, quantity while maintaining records and routing of material to stores or other destinations. Must enter correct receipt information into operating system to generate a material document. Ability to lift 20 to 40 pounds repeatedly

• Warehouse activities include picking product, cycle counting, sorting work orders and put aways using barcode equipment and associated stockroom software applications

• Completion of High School or equivalent.

• Ability to operate material handling equipment

• 1-2 years of related experience is desired.

• Computer knowledge a plus.
