Amazon Program Manager, Blink, Ring Blink Field Testing in North Reading, Massachusetts

Blink was the result of one of the most successful crowdfunding campaigns ever and is now part of Amazon Devices and Ring, the consumer electronics division that brings you the Kindle, Fire Tablets, Fire TV, and Echos. Our mission is to provide peace of mind for home owners while they are way from home using our wire-free, battery-operated smart home security cameras.

Blink is seeking a highly motivated Program Manager to join our growing operations team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, good with people, and comfortable working cross-functionally. This position requires the ability to work quickly and be flexible while delivering high-quality results. Having an eye for process improvement is critical to ensure scalability as we continue to grow. We are looking for someone who can flow between the big picture vision and the critical details needed to bring a device to market. The ideal candidate is customer obsessed, results oriented, and hands-on.

Key job responsibilities

-Work with key stakeholders in product and program management to define projects, timelines, and deliverables

-Communicate regularly with management on status, risks, and changes

-Maintain wiki pages and track program status for key projects and programs

-Manage, track, and drive testing of new features, hardware, and firmware

-Manage program trials with communication, device operations, and troubleshooting

-Manage distribution requests, inventory, and in-house device tracking

-Generate tracking reports and share with stakeholders

A day in the life

-Work with product teams to identify, track, and submit bug reports

-Create and support test plans for new product or feature betas

-Generate reports from beta results to determine success and host meetings to review

-Communicate activities and surveys to beta testers, providing technical support when necessary

-Work with remote teams to facilitate prototype device shipments and returns

-Work with business intelligence to create custom reports for each beta cohort

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience

  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
