Teradyne is looking for an engineering manager to lead AI efforts within the Semiconductor Test Division that are both externally product focused and internally facing opportunities that leverage AI technologies. It is critical for Teradyne to invest through both avenues to maintain our competitive edge, especially considering the role we play in the AI supply chain. As a leader in this space, you will need to instill a product mindset to drive important products to customers while being highly motivated to push what AI can do for Teradyne. To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to lead technical projects, engineers, and our AI roadmap.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Actively seeking opportunities to leverage AI within the organization and supporting other groups to embrace the technology

• Managing full-time engineers and ensuring they reach their maximum potential

• Tracking domain trends and attending (virtual or remote) conferences

• Working with various members to constantly keep the AI roadmap current

• Scoping and supervising projects that include contract and full-time employees

• Forecasting and managing all project and product costs within the group’s roadmap

• Engaging with third parties to evaluate what can be leverage (build vs buy)

• Ensuring that the AI Governance Processes are being followed effectively in the Product Development Organization”

• Represent Product Development in the corporate AI Center of Excellence

• Evangelize and educate the rest of the organization about AI technologies, trends, opportunities and risks

  You also meet the following requirements:

• 10+ years of experience within software engineering (mix of managing and individual contributor) with at least the last 2 years focused on AI technologies

• Proven ability to manage taking AI products to market

• Committed and accountable to take on challenging efforts

• Team player who takes pride in the success of others

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills that are effective with different levels of technical and non-technical individuals

• Ability to manage software engineering projects

• Experience with agile methodologies
