Opportunity Overview:
We are looking for a Technical Accounting Revenue Manager to join our Technical Accounting team within the Finance team in either of our finance centers: North Reading, MA, USA or Alajuela, Costa Rica or Cebu, Philippines.
This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 2 days per week in office reporting to the Assistant Corporate Controller.
This role is critical to ensuring the company maintains a high standard of financial reporting and revenue recognition in compliance with regulatory standards.
Partner with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Legal, Operations, and IT, to ensure the proper recognition of revenue across all business units.
Act as the subject matter expert for internal stakeholders and external auditors on ASC 606 matters which will involve:
Ownership of revenue related SOX controls program which involve execution of revenue recognition checklists and supporting documentation
Review new complex contracts to evaluate accounting treatment for appropriate revenue recognition.
Stay up to date with change in accounting standards impacting revenue recognition.
Own initiatives to continuously evaluate and improve revenue recognition practices as they evolve under updates to our business
Oversee periodic and adhoc training simplifying the technical accounting considerations of ASC 606 to both finance and non-finance professionals involved in the revenue recognition cycle
Opportunity to play an important role in technology road map specific to the Revenue Recognition process which will focus on standardization of process and improvements to underlying data requirements
Oversight of revenue accounting analyst including coaching, review of prepared workpapers and further development.

CPA (preferred)
Minimum of 5 years in public or corporate accounting, with at least 2 focused on revenue recognition (preferably in a public company)
In depth knowledge of ASC 606 requirements
Experience with public filings and external audits
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and senior management.
Detail orientated with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance
Experience working in a global team.
