ManpowerGroup Lab Technician I in Northampton, Massachusetts

Our client in the beverage industry is seeking a Lab Technician I to join their team. As a Lab Technician I, you will be part of the research laboratory supporting product development and analysis. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, ability to follow standard scientific techniques, and a passion for creating high-quality beverages.

Job Title: Lab Technician I

Location: Northampton, MA (100% onsite)

Pay Range: $20/hr

What's the Job?

  • Prepare syrups and beverages according to mixing instructions and following guidance from product developers and scientists.

  • Process incoming inventory of ingredients and supplies (e.g., receiving, logging, labeling, storing) to ensure that materials are traceable and properly stored.

  • Maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation (e.g., cleaning/sanitizing, troubleshooting, conducting preventative maintenance, calibrating, and repairing).

  • Maintain carbonation tanks room. Replace tanks as needed.

  • Maintain tasting rooms.

What's Needed?

  • Associate's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Food Science or related field.

  • 1-2 years of experience in a laboratory setting.

  • Ability to follow standard scientific techniques and analytical principles.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain laboratory cleanliness and organization.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs required.
