Your Role as a Behavioral Health RN

As a Behavioral Health RN, you’ll be at the heart of our care model, delivering one-on-one support that empowers patients and families. From assessments to emotional guidance, your work will bring hope and healing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess & Plan: Evaluate physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs; create and update customized care plans.

  • Coordinate & Deliver: Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless, holistic care.

  • Educate & Empower: Provide essential education to patients, families, and caregivers about behavioral health, safety, and symptom management.

  • Lead with Care: Supervise LPNs and behavioral health aides, maintaining the highest care standards.

  • Ensure Safety: Monitor and report health or environmental changes, updating care plans as needed.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Active RN License: Valid, unrestricted RN license in the state.

  • Clinical Expertise: At least 1 year of nursing experience; behavioral health, home health, or hospice experience preferred.

  • Mobility: Willingness to travel within the service area (up to 50%). Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance required.

  • Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.

  • Tech Savvy: Familiarity with Homecare HomeBase software is a plus.
