Sullivan Tire Credit & Collection Analyst in Norwell, Massachusetts

The primary function of the Credit & Collection Analyst is to professionally make phone calls to collect A/R, handle a large amount of phone calls/emails from sales and customers and apply customer payments. With more than $120 million in sales, we need an individual to reconcile account balances, analyze customer financial statements and set credit limits.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Ability to professionally make outgoing calls to collect A/R.
Process incoming credit applications by verifying information for accuracy. Make formal inquiries to bank and credit references to verify information.
Maintain files on customers with required information including complete credit application, periodic updates and sales tax forms.
Take incoming calls and emails for credit authorization and, within the parameters, issue credit sales authorizations when appropriate.
Respond to customer inquiries and communicate with other departments throughout the company to help solve the customers’ problems.
Accurately apply payments, credits and journal entries to customers’ accounts.
Qualifications:
Customer service focus & detailed oriented
Understanding of general credit regulations and practices
Solid Problem-solving, conflict resolution, and analytical skills
MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook proficient
Solid understanding of internal network applications
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Education/Experience:
High School degree required with Associates Degree in Accounting/Finance preferred. At least 1 year of credit experience preferred. Availability to work a Saturday rotational schedule.
