Sullivan Tire Credit & Collection Analyst in Norwell, Massachusetts

The primary function of the Credit & Collection Analyst is to professionally make phone calls to collect A/R, handle a large amount of phone calls/emails from sales and customers and apply customer payments.  With more than $120 million in sales, we need an individual to reconcile account balances, analyze customer financial statements and set credit limits.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Ability to professionally make outgoing calls to collect A/R.

  • Process incoming credit applications by verifying information for accuracy.  Make formal inquiries to bank and credit references to verify information.

  • Maintain files on customers with required information including complete credit application, periodic updates and sales tax forms.

  • Take incoming calls and emails for credit authorization and, within the parameters, issue credit sales authorizations when appropriate.

  • Respond to customer inquiries and communicate with other departments throughout the company to help solve the customers’ problems.

  • Accurately apply payments, credits and journal entries to customers’ accounts.

    Qualifications: 

  • Customer service focus & detailed oriented

  •  Understanding of general credit regulations and practices

  •  Solid Problem-solving, conflict resolution, and analytical skills

  •  MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook proficient

  •  Solid understanding of internal network applications

  •  Strong written and verbal communication skills

  •  Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team

     

    Education/Experience:

    High School degree required with Associates Degree in Accounting/Finance preferred. At least 1 year of credit experience preferred. Availability to work a Saturday rotational schedule.
