Clean Harbors Talent Acquisition Specialist, Military & College Recruitment in Norwell, Massachusetts

As the Talent Acquisition Specialist - Military & College Recruitment , you will drive all aspects of the recruitment process for military talent and college students, from sourcing and engagement to onboarding. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, you'll ensure a seamless and positive experience for candidates transitioning from military service to civilian employment and college students entering the workforce.

  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure a positive experience for candidates transitioning from military service and college students entering the workforce

Military:

  • Engage with transition assistance offices and veteran service organizations, participating in military job fairs and workshops to promote Clean Harbors' opportunities

  • Collaborate with military installations and transition assistance offices to promote Clean Harbors' participation in the (DOD) SkillBridge program

College:

  • Build relationships with career services offices, student organizations, and faculty members to promote Clean Harbors' opportunities

  • Represent Clean Harbors at college career fairs, information sessions, and networking events

Recruitment Process Management

  • Review resumes, conduct screenings, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.

  • Coordinate interview schedules, communicate with candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a positive interview experience

  • Extend job offers and facilitate the acceptance process

  • Collaborate internally for smooth onboarding, supporting pre-employment processes and integration

  • Maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS and track recruitment metrics for data-driven recommendations

  • Previous experience in military and college recruiting or related fields

  • Understanding of military culture, transition programs, and college recruiting strategies

  • Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ATS

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail

  • Passion for diversity and inclusion in recruitment practices
