Mental Health Counselor, Community Crisis Stabilization Relief
Seeking organized, energetic, and thoughtful respite counselors to help ease people in crisis back into the community!
The Crisis Stabilization and Respite is located in the heart of Norwood, MA and offers respite to 12 people at a time.
This is a great entry-level opportunity to join our organization as Respite Mental Health Counselor (Relief) for evenings, overnights and/or weekends in our adult mental health facility.
The candidate would work as part of our cohesive, experienced, multi-disciplinary team to help consumers transition back into the community.
Primary responsibilities include participation in and implementation of daily operations, ensuring quality of care, intake of new consumers, implementation of treatment plans, facilitation of groups, along with supervision and assurance of consumer safety and stabilization. Employees in this position will be required to perform occasional visits to people served, in home, to assess their needs.

- Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle required for local travel
Associate's degree with one year experience required or High School Diploma and three years related experience
Bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum of one year experience in a mental health setting strongly preferred
