Riverside Community Care Respite/Community Crisis Stabilization Clinician in Norwood, Massachusetts

$5,000.00 Sign-On Bonus: $2,500 after 30 days and $2,500 after 4 months of service.

Effective 8/20/21 - eligible applicants on or after 8/20/21; Internal transfers do not qualify for sign-on bonus.

Riverside Community Care’s Community Crisis Stabilization and DMH Respite Program provides support and crisis intervention for adults through short-term 24-hour treatment in a structured home-like setting. CCS/Respite provides person-centered, solution-focused stabilization and treatment to individuals in psychiatric crisis.

Riverside Community Care’s CCS/Respite Program is seeking a master-level clinician with diagnostic skills and the ability to deescalate and provide crisis interventions. Our ideal candidate would rapidly establish rapport with a wide range of clinical presentations. The candidate would work with individuals to provide short-term support and assist with accessing community-based services while working within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

  • Work within a multidisciplinary team and provide daily individual and group therapy to individuals onsite at the CCS and DMH Respite program.

  • Provide community-based support to individuals enrolled in the DMH Mobile Respite Program

  • Provide collateral and family consultations, case management and consultation

  • Develop and implement goal-oriented treatment plans for all clients in the program, within 24 hours of admission.

  • Conduct concurrent reviews with insurers as needed to obtain authorization for services.

  • Document all clinical and collateral contacts as well as case management activities in Evolv (electronic health record)

  • Participate in daily multidisciplinary rounds

Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday 8a-4p (9a-5p)

Full Time, Salaried, Benefits eligible. Face to Face work required through onsite and community outreach

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills required

  • Basic computer fluency including Microsoft Office required

  • Committed to continuous improvement, takes initiative, self-aware

Required Experience

  • Master’s in Social Work, Psychology, or related field (clinical degree that provides a path to independent licensure) required

  • Experience running groups preferred

  • Experience / knowledge of insurers

  • Clinical experience with adults and knowledge of the adult system of care required
