This is role is well-suitedto an ambitious professional looking for the next step in your career. As a Technical Service Engineer you will provide technical product and system supportto internal staff and external customers; complete technical-oriented servicetasks of various scopes; and support in planning and managing these tasks.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Leading in complex product support andproblem solving to customers remotely via the complaint handling processes anddocumenting accordingly.

  • Involvement in on-site and in-housetroubleshooting for complex products and product issues that arise in thefield.

  • Assisting in programs to increase customersatisfaction.

  • Providing information to the field viaservice knowledge bulletins.

  • Providing recommendations of complex productneeds of the customer to product design groups.

  • Leading coordination for new product introductionsas they relate to Headquarter support.

  • Preempting potential problems and providingeffective solutions in reaction to application of concepts, techniques,knowledge, or processes.

  • Displaying original thinking in applyingprinciples, theories, and concepts on a wide scale of problem solving.

  • Leading technical exchange meetings withregional service colleagues.

  • Successfully serve as point of authorityand/or source of technical/scientific knowledge for area of expertise.

  • Demonstrate knowledge of organization'sbusiness practices and issues faced and contribute to problem resolution ofthose issues.

  • Act asadvisor to management and business partners on routine technical matters.

Experienceand requirements for success in this role:

  • 5-8 years of successful experience in relatedfield and successful demonstration of responsibilities above.

  • BS/BA inrelated discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanceddegree MAY be substituted for experience.

  • Prior experiencein a Healthcare role and familiarity with the medical device industry
