Summary: As the Sr. Field Applications Engineer, you will play a critical role in providing technical application support to customers in eastern North America, specifically focusing on integrating Qorvo\'s power management, power devices, battery management and motor control products into their product designs. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with sales teams, development engineers, and product application specialists to promote our products effectively and ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: Provide technical support and advocate for the use of Qorvo\'s power management and SiC semiconductors in customer designs. Collaborate with the sales team to convert opportunities into successful design wins. Deliver on-site technical support and hands-on assistance to power electronics customers throughout the design cycle. Guide designers in component selection, system analysis, board layout, validation testing, and post-production support. Offer customer-inspired input to influence new product development and provide support during product releases. Develop an extensive knowledge of Qorvo\'s power management portfolio to deliver world-class applications support. Analyze power solutions using simulation tools. Establish strong relationships with customers and coordinate product-promotion activities with the sales team and Distribution. Prepare training material and conduct technical training, workshops and seminars in eastern North America. Work on joint development projects with customers as needed. Capture regional requirements, product issues, fixes, and improvement ideas and communicate to our Power Business Units. Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field. 5+ years of extensive experience in the design and development of power management, motor control and battery management circuits. Good knowledge of SiC semiconductors Diodes, MOSFETs and JFETs. Proficiency in AC/DC, DC/DC, Power Distribution Units, BLDC and PMSM motor control and Battery Management Systems. Familiarity with power measurement equipment, such as multimeters, electronic loads, oscilloscopes, bench power supplies, spectrum analyzers, etc. for testing and debugging. Proficient at schematic capture, proper PCB layout techniques, thermal simulation and analysis for high power and high voltage circuits. Excellent English verbal, written, and presentation skills, along with strong interpersonal communication abilities. Demonstrated success in resolving customer technical issues.
