Western Mass Manufacturer of metal shapes is looking for motivated and reliable Machinist / EDM Operator. The Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating various machines according to specifications detailed in Company documents. Available Shifts: 1st & 2nd (2nd includes additional shift differential compensation). Job Requirements - Set up and operate machines efficiently and accurately to ensure components are processed as outlined in engineering drawings. - Must be able to accurately inspect work using a variety of measurement tools. - Perform preventive maintenance of the equipment on a regular basis and maintain a clean and organized work area. - Must adhere to all department procedures and Company policies. - Must follow instructions from supervisor and adhere to all department procedures and Company policies. - Must be able to work prolonged time on feet with ability to frequent lifting, twisting, standing, stooping, and bending. - Prior experience working in manufacturing industry preferred. - Pre-employment Physical, Drug & Alcohol, and Background Screening required.
