Our community is looking for a full-time Environmental Services Floor Tech to join our amazing Housekeeping team.
In this position, you will be responsible for trash removal, moving furniture, room set-ups, cleaning floors and carpeting with specialized equipment , and other duties as assigned.
Drivers license and weekends are required.
What you will do:
Maintaining cleanliness of the Community, through the use of specialized equipment.
Ensuring proper handling and disposal of waste.
Utilizing work orders to ensure proper room/furniture setups.
Assisting with movement and delivery of heavy objects/packages.
Trashing removal including refuse and recycling.
Maintaining hard floor surfaces, including scrubbing, mopping, burnishing, stripping and waxing as well as carpeted surfaces, including extracting, interim cleaning, spotting, drying, and vacuuming.

What you will need:
Ability to safely operate carpet care equipment, hard floor care equipment, trash removal equipment and any other equipment necessary for the cleanliness of the community.
Ability to be flexible and honor other requests from residents or departments that can be completed in the allotted time.
Ability to work independently and as a contributing team member.
Ability to safely operate Housekeeping vehicles
Previous experience in carpet care and floor finishing techniques preferred.
Minimum of three years of verifiable licensed driving experience and a history of safe driving as noted through a three year motor vehicle record check.
