Personal & Group Fitness Trainer for Seniors

Full-Time Position (40 hours/ week)

Our high-end retirement community offers unique opportunities for Fitness Professionals who have a passion for what they do, and are looking for an alternative to working in a traditional Gym/ Fitness Center.

Bring your energy and enthusiasm to our team! We welcome your creativity in developing personal training programs and group fitness classes for our 1,600 Senior Residents right here on our campus (no travel required).

Our newly renovated gym features brand new quality equipment, fitness rooms, and an aquatic center. And our community offers a warm and friendly work environment like no other.

How you will make an impact:

  • Performing fitness assessments.

  • Create an appropriate exercise program, unique to the clients abilities and goals for both 1-1 and group personal training.

  • Educating and evaluating members on proper exercise techniques while using gym equipment.

  • Knowledge of basic water chemistry testing and teaching aquatic classes.

  • Developing exciting group exercise classes in a safe and engaging environment.

  • Maintaining a clean fitness and aquatic area for members.

  • Building strong relationships with residents and staff, encouraging them to be physically active.

  • Compensation: commensurate with experience starting at $20 / hour

What you will need:

  • Associate’s degree in Health Education or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Current CPR/First Aid certifications.

  • Experience in evaluating fitness programs for seniors is a plus.

  • Minimum of 1-year related work experience.
