Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Sr. QC Analytical Group Leader to join on of our top pharmaceutical clients in Worchester, MA. This individual will work onsite within their Quality Control Department overseeing laboratory operations. As a Sr/ QC Group Leader, you will be responsible for handling your own lab work as well as mentoring and training junior analyst assist in troubleshooting, supporting investigations and preform some data verifications. You will be managing a 6-person team and provide line-level management coordination of resources and work schedules for laboratory activities. Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations and assists in preparation and implementation of company policies, quality systems and training programs while ensuring that all projects are completed in a timely manner so that company revenues are met and clients are satisfied with the quality and turnaround time of work being performed. You will provide Analytical support for clinical trial supplies (e.g. GMP compliant stability and release testing for both drug substances and drug products) and preform data verification. The individual should also have experience performing lab work in accordance with client protocols, methods and requirements. HPLC, GC, KF, and UV/Vis. This position will also be working part of the time in the lab as the expert on HPLC and Empower in a GMP lab setting. Also, useful to have will be: ELISA, CE-SDS, IEF, SDS-PAGE, UV and compendial methods.

Skills and Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Scientific field

- 2-3 years of experience working with analytical and biologic methodologies (chromatography, HPLC and ELISA in a regulated GMP/GLP Lab environment)

- 2+ year of management/ leadership Experience

- Experienced in laboratory systems (LIMS and EMPOWER) required null
