Description We are seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our IT Consulting firm situated in Pembroke, Massachusetts. The role involves managing a variety of accounting and office-related tasks. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions

• Conduct frequent reconciliations

• Respond to phone inquiries and manage proof of delivery

• Oversee the tracking of packages

• Provide support to executives in additional office duties

• Manage multi-tasking in a fast-paced work environment

• Utilize accounting software systems, particularly QuickBooks Online

• Proficiently use Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suites

• Manage billing functions and track cash activity. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suites

• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Knowledge of Billing Functions

• Ability to handle Cash Activity

• Familiarity with Quickbooks Online.
