Berkshire Place Admission Coordinator in Pittsfield, Massachusetts
JOB PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE: This position contains a combination of duties. The primary purpose of this position, however, is to conduct medical evaluations/obtain medical screens at hospitals, nursing facilities, assisted living facilities or in the home for possible admission; to review medical and financial appropriateness for admission to the facility; to facilitate acceptable admissions with communication to all parties; to complete the full nursing admission assessment and sign-in; and to host/attend marketing/community events. EXPERIENCE: At least two years in long-term care setting required. RN preferred, but may also be a qualified LPN.
