Multiple Shifts and Locations Available! Key job criteria/responsibilities/standards: Perform direct care and training as defined by individual needs. Implementation of Individual Service Plans including but not limited to behavior plans scripts and other individualize protocols. Support and encourage individuals in meeting their rehabilitation goals. Accompany and drive individuals by use of a private automobile to appointments, shopping, vacations, and other social events or necessary appointments as requested. Attend assigned staff meetings, in service trainings, and other events; such as BI&SSCS and ABI trainings. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Maintain accurate and complete records, reports and data necessary to meet the requirements of BCArc and any certifying or regulatory agency. Patience and understanding in Supporting people with developmental disabilities and/or brain injuries. Must effectively communicate with other staff, family members, and Individuals. Requirements Certifications. Licenses, Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GED and 18 years of age or older. First Aid & CPR certification, and MAP certification. Must complete a pre-employment physical exam and complete a T.B. screening on a semi-annual basis. Valid driver's license. Minimum of one-year experience in the field.
