Description

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Loan Processor - Support in our team situated in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, United States. In this role, you will be expected to process loan applications, maintain customer records and respond to customer inquiries in the finance industry.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently process dealer loan contracts and member skip-a-payments.

• Handle loan payoffs and release vehicle liens.

• Mark titles received and file them accordingly.

• Respond to department emails and phone calls in a timely manner.

• Scan various loan and membership documents into the Core and LOS.

• Monitor all rates, conditions, and disclosures.

• Review, update, and verify information as needed.

• Initiate requests for missing or incomplete information.

• Conduct follow-up activities including, but not limited to, contact with members and automobile and recreational vehicle dealers.

• Maintain file maintenance and ensure the Credit Union’s security interest in collateral is served.

• Respond to member inquiries both orally and in writing.

• Quote rates, products, and other related information as needed.

• Use Microsoft Excel and other loan servicing systems to research and resolve issues.

Requirements • Proven experience in loan processing or related field.

• Strong knowledge of loan servicing processes and procedures.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create spreadsheets and manage data effectively.

• Ability to communicate effectively with both clients and team members.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.

• Strong customer service skills and a commitment to providing exceptional client experiences.

• Ability to understand and adhere to all federal and state laws applicable to the loan industry.
