Berkshire Health Systems Pharmacy Technician Supervisor in Pittsfield, Massachusetts
DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
Under supervision of the Pharmacy Manager, the pharmacy technician supervisor is responsible for coordinating daily operational activities within the designated pharmacy department area(s) balanced with on-line staffing. Work situations are a variety of routine and non-routine functions requiring analysis, organization, independent thinking and judgement, and decision making within the scope of the position’s responsibilities.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)
Experience:
Minimum of three years of hospital inpatient pharmacy experience
Education and Training:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor of Arts degree in a related field strongly preferred.
Diploma in Pharmacy Technician preferred.
License, Certification & Registration:
PHARM TECH CERT - Certified Pharmacy Tech by PTCB
PHARMTECH REG -Registered MA Pharmacy Tech.
Other Requirements:
Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills. Leadership skills.
Detailed oriented, yet also understands organizational concepts.
Able to organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Suite Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
