Our work environment includes: - International workforce - Casual work attire We are seeking a hard-working Quality Control Inspector for our growing business. Our QC Inspector will be responsible for inspecting all of our products, checking for defects and making sure they meet our high quality standards. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, an eye for detail, and will be dedicated to following all safety regulations. Responsibilities: - Performs quality assurance functions to accomplish production coordination, monitoring, and reporting of quality-assurance studies according to the QA plan. - Informs manager of any new and/or revised QC regulations. - Assists with the coordination of appropriate data-gathering mechanisms, procedures, etc. - Creates a satisfactory working environment with others performing quality-assurance studies, and assists with the accumulation, display, routing, and dissemination of information to QA Manager. - Follow procedures to inspect and report quality issues to the Quality Assurance Manager to ensure immediate action. - Maintain ISO standards and procedures. - Facilitate in proactive solutions by collecting and analyzing quality data. - Follow processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery. - Communicates quality standards and parameters to QA Manager. - Identifies and analyzes issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, particularly when problems recur in multiple products; recommends and facilitates solutions to these issues to the QA Manager. - Performs other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: - Ability to handle frequent interruptions. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. - Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet rounds. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite or related software. - Reliable, trustworthy, and works well with others. Education and Experience: - Diploma or equivalent - At least one year of manufacturing-related experience and quality control experience required. Physical Requirements: - Work requires sitting, standing, and/or walking for periods of five hours or more, moving and examining objects at high and low reach, and reading for periods of three hours or more. - Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
