Greylock Federal Credit Union* Training and Development Specialist in Pittsfield, Massachusetts

CLICK HERE to view the full job description and to apply!{target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"} Key Job Requirements: - Writes/develops and facilitates compelling course content and engaging learning activities that enhance retention, and knowledge transfer for internal training curriculums. Training delivery methods include in-person classroom instruction, virtual classroom facilitation, hybrid learning, and on-line learning. - Coordinates and trains credit union and CUSO employees on internal cultural programs, new hire orientation workshops, leadership training (Greylock Management Academy), and customer service standards. Is a subject-matter- expert on Greylock\'s member experience expectations and cooperative credit union principles. Translates strategic and business plan initiatives into learning opportunities for employees. - Administers Learning Management System, and training tracking processes. Manages training calendar and training wait lists. Ensures training records are accurate and up-to- date. Assigns courses, runs reports, notifies managers when employees have past-due courses. Provides user assistance/training. Keeps course library up-to-date. - Responsible for Tuition Reimbursement policy and program. Develops relationship with local colleges to provide materials and presentations for employees to learn which local resources might be their best partner in continuing their education and provides employee guidance. - Supports collaboration with project managers and department managers to develop curriculum content and corresponding assessment tools for Greylock\'s internal training programs, developing and administering tracking processes. - SharePoint Site Administrator for Training and Development department. Updates training calendar; uploads training documents. Routinely archives outdated information. - Supports Training Designers with updates to participant materials in Microsoft Publisher and Microsoft PowerPoint as well as support and be a back up trainer when Branch Training and Development Specialist is not available. - Analyzes training participant feedback surveys and provides recommendations to VP Culture and Brand to enhance or create future training programs, based on survey results. Position Requirements: - High school diploma or its equivalent. - Preferred: College Degree - Preferred: At least two years\' experience as an Instructional Designer, a training facilitator or related field - Obtain ATD Instructional Design Certificate preferably within 18 months of hire - Ability to identify and create materials, exercises, and activities that enhance the learning process. - Ability to break learning topics into basic steps and identify the order in which topics are best presented. - Exceptional written communication skills, including proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Ability to write drafts, edit drafts, and ensure finalized materials provide for the transfer of knowledge. - Ability to create graphics using graphics creation software - Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Publisher. Ability to continue to learn and develop skills at an intermediate to advanced level, as identified in Microsoft learning assessments. Adobe In Design Experience a plus. - Preferred: Minimum two years banking/credit union experience, with a basic knowledge of banking products and terminology, and a basic understanding of responsibilities performed in the branch network and lending departments. - Preferred: A basic understanding of compliance regulations adhered to in the branch network and lending departments. - Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for a long period of time.
