Job Description:

Main Responsibilities : Assumes Administrative responsibility for Hospital off shift, effectively coordinates resources across patient care areas, participates in quality monitoring, demonstrated interpersonal and critical thinking skills, ensures compliance and adherence to Hospital policies & regulatory standards, possess ability to assess, plan interview and evaluate patient care situations, liaison with patient/families, physicians, staff and administration.

Qualifications :

  • Current Massachusetts RN license

  • BS in Nursing or actively working towards, preferred.

  • Minimum 4 years, recent acute care experience with progressive responsibility, including 2 years' charge experience.

  • Current AHA BLS/ACLS required.

  • Demonstrated independent, supervisory, decision-making skills essential. Tact, diplomacy and sensitivity in dealing with patients, family and staff relations.

  • Current knowledge and expertise in trends and practices of Med/Surg nursing, ability to apply knowledge of State and Federal regulatory and reimbursement issues.

  • Excellent evaluation in current setting with letter or recommendation from Nurse Director.
