HII Unmanned Systems is seeking an experienced Production Planning/Scheduling & Inventory Manager to come join our team!

  • Monitor department performance and take corrective action to eliminate process discrepancies

  • Plan and coordinate stockroom & kitting activities, and team objectives

  • Plan and coordinate production planning & scheduling activities

  • Provide personnel with training opportunities

  • Work with team to develop, execute and sustain scorecards based on company goals

  • Monitor department dashboards and reports to maintain accurate throughput and cycle times

  • Enforce health and safety regulations

  • Manage and support the Cycle Counting process

What you will be doing...

Responsible for managing the stockroom, inventory control, and production planning & scheduling. Responsible for the cycle count process and inventory accuracy of all inventory location. Acts as primary point of contact for inventory, and production planning & scheduling inquiries/actions. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. Directs the work of assigned employees.

What we are looking for...

  • 4 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 2 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 8 years relevant progressive experience.

  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a confidential level clearance #LI-MH1

  • Demonstrated expertise in ERP and MRP systems, including experience leading a new deployment/system migration.

  • Demonstrated expertise in production planning & scheduling.

Bonus Points for...

  • APICS CPIM certification a plus

  • Deltek Costpoint ERP experience strongly preferred

May be required to visit job site in an industrial or shipyard environment.
