Ensure the successful delivery of company projects on time, cost, and quality. Participate in full-cycle project development from initial customer proposal to final acceptance test. Oversee all aspects of multiple projects using planning, monitoring, and controlling processes.
Directs all phases of projects from inception through completion.
Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project teams, and line management.
Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes.
Coordinate with sales, engineering and production to define the scope of work for assigned projects and develop project plan, including schedule, cost budget, resource budget, and associated forecasting.
Develop and maintain Project Risk Response plans for each project.
Identify assumptions and constraints (technical, schedule, resource, budget) for each project.
Backlog management/execution, planning analysis, and exception reporting.
Determines reasons and coordinates solutions for production manufacturing shortfalls.
Manages and tracks non-recurring engineering (NRE) expensing and billing.
Develop and maintain project dashboard that highlights cost, schedule and resource variances from original plan and highlights current Risk Response actions to correct variances.
Facilitates regular, professional team meetings across program team with active follow-up action items.
Communicates complex issues/gain consensus with the engineering, production, quality, and other stakeholders.
Understands materials and enterprise resource planning.
Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
Monitors, controls, and communicates to corporate management the status of projects, with attention to resource utilization, project costs, and risk management.
Utilizes technical leadership expertise to build effective teams.
Provides input to employee performance appraisals.
Utilizes positive leadership style to build motivated teams.
Utilizes effective supervisory skills to improve processes, resolve conflicts.
Provides continuous superior customer service.
Position will require 10/15% work/travel aboard offshore vessels as required.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

What we are looking for
4 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 2 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 8 years relevant progressive experience.
Experience with project scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project)
Experience in an Earned Value Management environment
Must have an active secret clearance #LI-MH1
Bonus Points for
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
May be required to visit job site in an industrial or shipboard environment. Normally not required to lift more than 40 pounds higher than three feet above feet/floor level.
