Job Description

A large retail & commercial bank is looking for two Digital Technical Production Support Leads to join their digital banking team supporting a new digital banking platform. The role is responsible for designing and delivering the vision and customer experience for the Bank's Digital customers with respect to Security (certifications, tokens, biometrics, OTP, etc). They will be triaging issues in pre-production and production, as well as managing releases of new features for security across the platform. The role is fully remote in Mexico. As a background, the bank has close to $90B in assets, 9K employees and more than 2M customers along the east coast in the US. In addition to providing excellent banking experiences for their customers, the bank also very involved in the community through charitable giving and philanthropy to give back to low/moderate income and underserved communities.

The role will deal with 1. Security Communications 2. Incidents 3. Release Management 4. Technical Requirement Gathering 5. Firewalls (Akamai) etc. This highly technical role is responsible for understanding, influencing and enabling the business strategy by deploying the relevant digital technologies. The role is accountable to the Sr. Tech Lead of their Digital workstream, with specific focus on Mobile and Online capabilities across Sales and Service. Delivering and maintaining capabilities to enhance customer experience and satisfaction is key. A key piece of this role is triaging issues in pre and prod; for example, a customer is trying to join a joint account but accidentally created another account and is now not receiving the invite to join, so this resource will need to investigate the flows and then hand off their findings to the development teams. Another example could be that a customer is not getting a push notification to their "trusted device" preventing them from logging in to their account.

The role requires partnership between the business leadership team, local Technology teams, corporate engineering teams and vendors (for product integrations). The position acts as lynch pin between the business Product Manager, development teams and integration/deployment teams driving delivery, decision making and navigating risks and issues. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, responsive and results orientated individual with exceptional technical skills, relationship development, communication skills, strong project, financial and management experience. This resource will be leading meetings and must have strong communication.

The candidates need to make sure the platform is up and running in relation with all internal systems related to security. They will then deal with incidents in pre and prod, make sure deployments are covered, support and test for the application (sometimes dealing with vendors directly), manage releases for cross functional microservices, manage different projects or action drivers from security point of view such as periodic activities from security like patching, scans, etc. Some of these actions again will be carried out by other teams so it is up to these consultants to help coordinate with those respective IT teams to get the work done; however, there may be some actions that needs to be handled by this individual themselves if for some reason someone is out then it is expected this resource can roll up the sleeves and do it.
