Robert Half Contract Specialist in Randolph, Massachusetts


Robert Half Legal is working with a dynamic company to find their next Contracts Specialist in Randolph, MA. The position is hybrid and offers great benefits and more.

The Contracts Specialist will support and lead the day-to-day contracting function of our service lines and companies, working closely and integrating within operations, sales, and support groups. The ideal candidate will be pro-active, solutions-orientated, and demonstrate an interest in and eagerness to learn our businesses and operations.

  • Strong analytical, verbal, and written interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of employees and outside third parties.

  • Ability to navigate multiple operating companies, departments, and support groups with competing interests.

  • Ability to implement, adopt, and utilize multiple technology platforms.


  • Serve as dedicated contracting resource to project managers, operations, sales, and other Company personnel to intake and manage contract requests and inquiries.

  • Review, advise upon, and redline contracts & bid specifications in concert with the Company’s legal department.

  • Assist drafting scopes of works, addendums, and exhibits.

  • Oversee the contracting process from start to finish and facilitate the signature of company contracts, bonds, and other contract documentation.

  • Administer and negotiate vendor and subcontractor contracts and templates.

  • Draft subcontract/vendor contracting procurement and solicitation plans for large projects and standing master services agreements.

  • Manage Company’s contract database and repository with Company’s contract management system.

  • Review commercial insurance requirements and facilitate review with Company’s third-party insurance broker in response to requests for certificates of insurance.



  • Associates degree required, bachelor’s preferred.

  • CPCM or similar designations and certifications preferred.

  • 3-4 years’ experience contracts experience working for a contractor or services provider, environmental, or construction preferred.

  • 2-3 years’ reviewing and drafting scopes of works, amendments, and exhibits.

  • Basic understanding of commercial insurances with experience reviewing and requesting certificates of insurance (COIs).

  • 2-3 years’ experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs) and other governmental contracting regimes preferred.
