Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Medical Receptionist in Raynham, Massachusetts. This role is centered around providing excellent customer service within the healthcare industry. As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a vital role in managing patient communications, maintaining detailed records, and coordinating appointments.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and document all patient-related calls including inquiries about tests results, illness, referrals, and prescription refills.

• Deliver high-quality customer service while managing inbound patient calls in a detail oriented and respectful manner.

• Utilize the EHR system and Allscripts to maintain precise patient records.

• Schedule and adjust patient appointments using computer systems effectively.

• Carry out insurance referrals and verifications as needed.

• Monitor patient accounts and take necessary action promptly.

• Maintain a calm and composed demeanor while dealing with potentially stressful situations.

• Comfortably perform job functions while seated for extended periods. Requirements • Proficiency in using Allscripts software for managing patient data

• Familiarity with EHR SYSTEM for maintaining electronic health records

• Ability to effectively answer and manage inbound calls

• Experience in checking in patients and ensuring their comfort

• Strong documentation skills for maintaining accurate patient records

• Knowledge in insurance referrals and verifications processes

• Competence in scheduling patient appointments effectively

• Excellent customer service skills to ensure patient satisfaction

• Previous experience in a call center customer service role would be a plus TalentMatch®
