Job Description

A long-standing and reputable brokerage firm is hiring for a part time administrative support on a permanent basis to work Monday - Friday from the hours to NOON - 5PM. This is a permanent hire. This administrative role plays a heavy role in customer satisfaction by providing high levels of Customer Satisfaction to ensure company profitability, by providing pertinent information; resolving product, service and transportation problems. This role is also responsible for establishing and maintaining effective rapports with all customers within the operation of the brokerage (ie manufacturers, regional managers, buyers, etc.)

Daily Office Functions

Processes Purchase Orders in a timely manner

Records and submits Billbacks within our internal system MCS

Navigates through web portals to input Ad placements

Contributes to Team effort by accomplishing assigned tasks and projects

Attends to clerical needs of Sales Staff

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

Outstanding Customer Service Skills

Highly organized with strong ability to multi-task and exercise project management with great attention to detail

Professional in demeanor, as well as written and oral communication with managers, staff and clientele

Ability to handle situational difficulties with great ease

Team Player for Office, as well as for best interest for growth of the company and continued outstanding service for clientele

Ability to consult and effectively communicate with all levels of Management as well as employees

Assist in professionally fostering a cooperative and productive work environment

Ability to plan and prioritize for work week in a timely and organized manner

Possesses initiative

WORK HOURS/SHIFT: Hours - Monday thru Friday 12-5 pm - some flexibility to cover for existing Office Admin

PAY RATE: Pay Rate is $18-20 / hour
