Our End-to-End Portfolio Management team enables the simplification of our product portfolio and plays a critical role in the journey. This is an exciting time to join the team and play a key role in shaping the future. The Senior Project Manager, PDP as part of our End-to-End Portfolio Management team will be responsible for identifying and delivering continuous process improvements to our PDP process, governance, supporting systems, and ultimately delivering deactivation of SKUs across Orthopedics systems worldwide.

The Senior Project Manager to drive improvements to our Product Discontinuation Process (PDP) and execute deactivation of products. We are looking for a structured, data driven, high energy leader with the ability to influence and lead heavily matrixed organization to drive execution with rigor. The ideal candidate will have an independent perspective, high engagement, execution focus, and a sound understanding of our business. Demonstrated ability to manage high complexity, experience with Master Data, Supply Chain, strong project management, and experience of various systems such as ERP (SAP, JDE) is required.

This position is ideally based in New Brunswick, NJ, Raritan NJ, West Chester PA, Palm Beach FL, Raynham MA, Warsaw IN, Tampa FL, Jacksonville, FL.

The Senior Project Manager, PDP will be accountable and responsible for partnering with the End-to-End portfolio leads, platform DRIs, functional DRIs, and JNJ Orthopedics Transformation Office Leadership Team to:

  • Support planning, execution, and delivery of product deactivation across Orthopedics systems landscape (ERPs, Planning, Regulatory, Quality, Labeling, R&D etc.)

  • Supporting the End to End Portfolio leads to drive continuous improvement to our Product Discontinuation Process delivering agility, efficiency, and effectiveness.

  • Partnering with the End-to-End portfolio leads, develop KPIs and deliver visibility to execution of Product Discontinuation.

  • Enable consistent communication, collaboration and documentation of decisions and critical reference documents.

  • Leverage project management tools to successfully deliver commitments.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, facilitate and manage project team in an inclusive, high-performance team environment.

  • Capture critical action items including program risks, issues, actions, decisions.

  • Follow-up on key priorities and facilitate decision making.

  • Plan, execute, and control the project schedule.

  • Identify and manage project risks.

  • Manage the project team and monitor budget and resources.

  • Drive cross-franchise, cross-regional engagement, and alignment.

  • Drive accountability to achieve program success.

  • Identify, manage, and effectively communicate interdependencies amongst stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • Advanced degree (e.g., M.B.A. or M.S) is highly preferred.

  • Supply Chain, Commercial, Marketing, or Finance experience highly preferred.

  • Experience with ERP (SAP, JDE), Master Data required.

  • Experience managing projects/initiatives part of largescale, rapid, high visibility program required.

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Supply Chain, Commercial, or Marketing

  • Demonstrated experiences and ability to collaborate effectively with multiple partners and influencing without authority across a matrix organization is required.

  • The ability to prioritize and successfully lead multiple projects/priorities as the directly responsible individual (DRI) in a fast-paced environment is required.

  • The ability to establish a vision, a project plan and then execute proactively, be it independently or within a team, is required.

  • Exceptional interpersonal, professionalism and presentation skills are required.

  • Previous portfolio management expertise developing and implementing processes for new products on a global scale.

  • Change management, project management, and the ability to work effectively and drive alignment in a global environment through strong communication and empowerment.

This role is severance eligible.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$120,000 - $ 207,000

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
