Supply Network Planning is an integral supply chain planning activity providing end to end support for network planning and inventory optimization in Johnson and Johnson's distribution network. The role provides analytical and technical support, problem solves system issues, identifies areas of inventory efficiency and co-ordinates the execution of various supply chain activities ensuring critical launch dates are met, and supply optimally supports demand throughout the distribution network.
SNP Duties & Responsibilities
Conversion of VSL strategy to execution messages in planning system (APO/OMP) by Supply point Capacity and site strategy alignment for medium to long term planning.
Projecting and driving inventory burn off activities with project strategy and market registration timelines in mind.
Constant monitoring of the plan's alignment to the overall project strategy.
Liaise with Variant team on markets' registration and communicate findings to leadership.
Responsible for reporting out communication on cut over progress and any risks to project team and leadership.
Aligning forecast with licensing at country level for new variants, loading future variants per anticipated licensing per country.
Routinely updating material determination tables as timelines change at the appropriate level.
Ensuring regulatory approvals database and supply preference rules are aligned with forecast and supply chain strategy.
Collaborating closely with Demand Team to ensure APS LDT is aligned to MDT at product code level.
Responsible for ensuring SNP Interchangeability Table aligns to project strategies.
Update SNP product substitution report (hub ICT tables) in line with new variants
Coordinate inventory allocation and utilization throughout network during times of constraint with STEM, ISG, Demand Management, PP&L, and GPM.
Ensure SAP APO Parameters and indicators are optimally set/ handled, through collaboration with project team members.
Maintain accurate master, regulatory and transactional data in relative systems.
Identify root-cause and work with supply chain partners to resolve supply issues. Communicate these supply issues/ plans through S&OP Process and to SNP Group, Demand Planning, Customer Service, and In-Market Supply Partners as appropriate.
Engage in the constraint’s management & global allocations process according to procedure.
Proactively identify and inform business partners on risk, opportunities, and priorities to aid tactical and strategic decision making.
Participate in metrics reviews with multi-functional teams and attend/participate in other calls / meetings.
Collaborate with IT to address issues/ errors.
Implement Multi-Variant switches on the RAD in conjunction with inventory optimization.
Actively participate in the Global Control Tower platforms, including but not limited to root causing, corrective actions, A3 problem solving for your given site/sites.
Engagement in Inventory Entitlement changes in Primary/Secondary hubs.
Engagement with all business partners for progression of supply feedback loop tool, to enhance our regional partners and end customer experience.
Experience and Education
To be a successful member of this impactful team you will have phenomenal attention to detail as well as:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
Sophisticated usage and understanding of analytical software to aid in decision-making process (Excel, Alteryx, etc.)
4 years related experience
MRP/ERP systems experience and concept knowledge
Advanced Planning Systems experience (APS/APO)
Technical understanding of planning systems (APO, OMP, ERP, etc.)
Understanding E2E product flow
Understanding of multi-variants and RAD (incl. SPR’s) and the RAD touch points with ERP’s Data mining / reporting skills
Ability to communicate concisely to plan leadership, peers, and sites
Ability to collaborate with business partners from multiple teams and geographies, with a goal of aligning on business decisions that are most beneficial to the business as a whole.
Excel and data visualization tools plus Business Warehouse and Business Intelligence
Experience within the healthcare regulated industry
Experience in articulating and presenting trade off decisions
Bachelor of Science in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Logistics or Operations, or equivalent.
Planning experience in Medtech, Pharmaceuticals or other regulated industry
Experience with Alteryx
Green belt six-sigma certification
Data visualization creation experience
Required knowledge, skills, abilities, certification/licenses
Ability to effectively prioritize requests from multiple projects/teams, with little to no supervision

May require 10% travel
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
